Do you love theatre? Do you like being in community with cool folk like you? Ever wanted to create a piece?
Devised theatre/collective creation is calling your name. Part improv games, part writing, all fun, this weird and wonderful process starts from zero and dials up to a performance – entirely made by all of you.
Erica May-Wood is a professional actor, teacher and theatre maker who totally loves this process. She has done it with teens in the Hamilton Fringe Festival, at Young People’s Theatre, Crow's Theatre and in a global project (with folk in seven countries!) during the pandemic.
She’s been performing professionally since she was a teen herself - starting in Toronto with Brighton Beach Memoirs then going to London, England to study. Returning home she did musicals, classics, toured schools and created and performed for Fringe festivals.
