About
This Clown workshop will give students a larger sense of the divine in each of us. That celebrates our humanness, our animalness, and the times that we can connect with each other in a moment of laughter. We need to build our clown who speaks to today, and not just a collection of gags, but an archetype that reveals the essence of the performer. This is clowning that builds from the inside out.
Sue Morrison’s career has taken her from being a performer in clown, puppetry, and improv to teaching, co-writing and directing focused specifically in the philosophy of Clown through Mask. Sue has taught, created and presented shows across the world. Her intensive workshops allow for the emotional excavation necessary to evolve stellar performances, as exemplified by her many students in shows individually created for the performer as well as in powerhouses such as Cirque du Soleil.
